This is a beautiful souvenir program from the Original Broadway production of the JULIAN FELLOWES, RICHARD M. SHERMAN and ROBERT B. SHERMAN musical “MARY POPPINS” at the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York City. (The Original West End production opened October 15th, 2004 at London’s Prince Edward Theatre and closed January 12th, 2008 after more than 1250 performances. The Broadway production opened November 16th, 2006 and closed March 3rd, 2013 after 2619 performances.) ….. Based on the stories of P. L. TRAVERS and the Walt Disney film, the Original Broadway production starred ASHLEY BROWN in the title role, GAVIN LEE as “Bert”, DANIEL JENKINS as “George Banks” and REBECCA LUKER as “Winifred Banks” and featured CASS MORGAN, MARK PRICE, RUTH GOTTSCHALL, MICHAEL McCARTY and JANE CARR with KATHERINE LEIGH DOHERTY, KATHRYN FAUGHNAN and DELANEY MORO alternating in the role of “Jane Banks” and MATTHEW GUMLEY, HENRY HODGES and ALEXANDER SCHEITINGER alternating in the role of “Michael Banks” ….. PLEASE NOTE: The scanned pages have been cropped due to the limitations of my scanner. The margins are slightly wider than shown ….. CONDITION: With the exception of light edge wear, this program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
