Pickwick Herald Flyer Ad, Harry Secombe, Jessie Evans, Teddy Green, London, 1963

PickwickHarry SecombeJessie Evans, Peter BullAnton Rodgers, Teddy GreenGerald James, Oscar QuitakJulian Orchard & Hilda Braid Vintage Promotional Herald / Flyer Up for auction is a vintage souvenir promotional advertising herald or flyer, measuring approximately 5 by 8 inches in size. Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs. This single sheet, double sided herald is for Peter Coe’s “Pickwick”, featuring the Original West End Cast of Harry Secombe, Jessie Evans, Peter Bull, Anton Rodgers, Teddy Green, Gerald James, Oscar Quitak, Julian Orchard and Hilda Braid, and opening at the Saville Theatre, in London, England, in 1963. The souvenir herald is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there are five sets of two pin holes each, located at each of the four corners plus at the center of the bottom edge, likely from staples that were holding the herald in place. In addition, there are two slight horizontal creases where the herald appears to have been folded at one time. At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage heralds, playbills, souvenir programs, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible. If this is something that you are interested in, please check out these other listings as well. Terms: All sales final. Paypal only. I will ship USPS mail. The listed shipping and handling charges are for the continental United States only. All others must wait for a revised invoice with additional charges for air mail service. Thank you for looking. If you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures, please e-mail me as I would be happy to provide additional details. Please note that all items being sold come from a smoke-free and pet-free home. I am not a professional dealer, and am simply downsizing after years of collecting. I try very hard to accurately list and describe the condition of each item that I sell, and can appreciate the frustration of receiving an item that is not as described. Being human, I will occasionally make a mistake, and may miss a flaw or imperfection that would leave one dissatisfied with their purchase. If this occurs, and you feel that the item you receive is not as described, please contact me immediately. My goal is that each individual who buys from me is happy with their purchase.
