(The production opened October 11th, 1965 at the Locust Street Theatre in Philadelphia and closed November 13th, 1965 at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, Connecticut, cancelling the scheduled Broadway opening.) ….. This is a rare single page advertising handbill (flyer) promoting the one-night, National Tour engagement of the JOHN MURRAY and ALLEN BORETZ comedy “ROOM SERVICE” at the Hershey Community Theatre in Hershey, Pennsylvania on December 13th, 1937. (The production opened May 19th, 1937 at the Cort Theatre in New York City and ran for 500 performances while simultaneously playing on the road.) ….. The ensemble cast included IRA MANDELL, REED BROWN, Jr., FRANKLIN GEORGE, JAMES LANE, JOEY FAYE, FRAYE GILBERT, WHITNER BISSELL, AUGUSTA WALLACE, CHARLES DINGLE, WALTER SCOTT WEEKS, JOHN CARMODY, HORACE COOPER, WILLIAM DUNCAN and CLARENCE E.
