Funny LadyBarbra StreisandJames CaanOmar SharifRoddy McDowallBen VereenProduction Notes Up for auction are a set of Production Notes, that were issued by Columbia Pictures to publicize “Funny Lady”. “Funny Lady” is an American biographical musical comedy-drama film, loosely based on the life of Fanny Brice, and a sequel to the 1968 film “Funny Girl”. The movie was directed by Herbert Ross, featured Barbra Streisand, James Caan, Omar Sharif, Roddy McDowall and Ben Vereen, and was released on March 12th, 1975. To promote its release, Columbia Pictures issued a series of press releases, each covering a different aspect of the film, or featuring interviews with the film’s principle actors. These Production Notes were one of those press releases. There are a total of 13 pages of Production Notes, all of which were stapled together. Also included, is a single sheet photocopied memo, to the Foreign Press, from Ingeborg Sager, and dated March 14, 1975, regarding a delay in the timing of a screening “due to last minute complications”. The Production Notes are in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there is a slight vertical crease, which runs throughout all 13 pages. The accompanying photocopied memo does have several creases to it. At this time and over the next few months, I will be selling a number of vintage heralds, playbills, souvenir programs, as well as other movie and theatre memorabilia, and will combine shipping if at all possible. If this is something that you are interested in, please check out these other listings as well. Terms: All sales final. Paypal only. I will ship USPS mail. The listed shipping and handling charges are for the continental United States only. All others must wait for a revised invoice with additional charges for air mail service. Thank you for looking. If you have any questions or would like additional information or pictures, please e-mail me as I would be happy to provide additional details. Please note that all items being sold come from a smoke-free and pet-free home. I am not a professional dealer, and am simply downsizing after years of collecting. I try very hard to accurately list and describe the condition of each item that I sell, and can appreciate the frustration of receiving an item that is not as described. Being human, I will occasionally make a mistake, and may miss a flaw or imperfection that would leave one dissatisfied with their purchase. If this occurs, and you feel that the item you receive is not as described, please contact me immediately. My goal is that each individual who buys from me is happy with their purchase.
