This listing is for vintage newspaper ad for the movie “Gunga Din” starring Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Sam Jaffe, Eduardo Ciannelli, Joan Fontaine, and more. These are (approx. 4 x 6 1/2, 6 x 4, 9 x 6 inches ) from Springfield Missouri newspaper March 18, 19, 1939. Shown with the Disney Silly Symphony “Merbabies”. “You’ve longed for adventure; thirsted for thrills; hungered for action! … Now they’re yours! with the red-blood and gunpowder heroes who rise from the storied mystery of India …” This newspaper lot is in Very Good (with toning due to age) condition. Program has some heavy spine wear and edge damage consistent with age and normal use (See pictures for clarification), but still, how many of these survived at all?
