It is NOT a double-sided dialogue transcript, which is what a lot of screenplays you can find for sale seem to be these days. It is 128 pages long, plus the cover, and is the entire movie.The original plan for “Jaws 3” was to be a parody movie, similar to “Airplane!” or “The Naked Gun.” National Lampoon was responsible for the script, which was co-written by THE John Hughes. Producers of the original “Jaws” and “Jaws 2” were going to produce, Joe Dante (“Gremlins”, “The Howling”) was going to direct it, and Bo Derek (“10” / “Tommy Boy”) was going to star in it. It was close to being filmed, but Steven Spielberg, as well as some other studio people, decided they didn’t like the idea of that, and put an end to it, and we ended up with “Jaws 3D” being made instead. Nevertheless, the script was written.The cover has been printed on 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock, so it is more sturdy. A white, 8.5 x 11 inch magazine board has also been used for the back cover, to allow sturdiness for reading. The rest of the script is printed on standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper. The pictures in the listing are of the screenplay you will receive- not pictures of a computer image of what it COULD look like.
