Rock n Roll High School

The High School Yearbook is in excellent shape for being about 5 decades old, features: Legendary Bass Player Tom Hamilton of Aerosmith when he was a Sophomore. I found him in 6 places in the yearbook, and he very well may be in more. A couple of the really cool pictures is Tom playing bass with his band Plastic Glass. I believe this band to be the band that he started that also had guitarist Joe Perry, but it’s too hard to tell the identities of the other members.

The High School Yearbook is in excellent shape for being almost 5 decades old, features: Legendary Blues Guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan! Stevie is pictured here with his band at the time called Blackbird performing at his High School. Stevie quit school later this year, and the word was he didn’t make it to class much in his high school years, so there aren’t any individual high school class pictures of him in any high school yearbook that I know about. I checked the yearbooks of the same high school in the other years that he would’ve likely gone there, and found nothing else. So basically, this is a documented rare glimpse of Stevie doing what he did best in his high school.
