Especially for being almost 40 years old. Blue low-cut carpet with white border and white movie names. Measures 6 feet by 3 feet. Not sure what this was used for? My guess: there was a movie premiere or awards show and this was put down for one or two movie stars to stand on for a quick interview or photo op. ("Mr. Norris, when Mary signals, please go over and stand on the blue carpet and she'll ask you a quick question or two about your new movie 'Silent Rage.'") I think the 6x3 size allows photographers to be set up and focused on that spot. The carpet is big enough for 3 people to stand closely together. Time frame: March 12, 1982 'Richard Pryor Live on the Sunset Strip' came out and on July 29, 1983 'Krull' came out. So there is a year in between these films. Note: 5 of the 6 listed came out in 1982, very closely together, and 'Krull' is the outlier at more than a year later. The carpet has a strap to tie it up, so I don't believe this was intended to be left out for any amount of time. And the condition is great, like it was hardly used; maybe it wasn't. Great one-of-a-kind item for your movie room floor or wall. Very cool thing and unusual movie collectible. Love Chuck Norris . . . and 'Silent Rage' is one of his best . . . Paid a pretty penny for it when I was movie memorabilia collecting (all is gone now).
