One-of-a-kind 35mm slide from the photographer of legendary thrash band VIO-LENCE’s landmark debut “Eternal Nightmare”. Handwriting on the slide appears to be that of guitarist Phil Demmel (Vio-Lence, Machine Head, Slayer, Kerry King, Category 9, etc.) This image is from their classic 1988 photo session in an East Bay auto wrecking yard. You’re familiar with the back cover of Eternal Nightmare with the band sitting on the wrecked car. This alternate photo features the band launching an attack towards camera over a pile of wreckage. You may recognize it from the 1988 magazine ad for their tour with Testament and Voivod!
