This is a rare July 7th, 1958 programme (playbill) from the Pre-London tryout and WORLD PREMIERE engagement in English of Paris' longest running musical comedy "IRMA LA DOUCE" at the Theatre Royal in Brighton, England. (The musical originated at the Theatre Gramont in Paris, opening November 12th, 1956. The Original West End production would open July 17th, 1958 at the Lyric Theatre in London and run for 1512 performances. The Original Broadway production would open September 29th, 1960 at New York's Plymouth Theatre and run for 527 performances.) .....
