This is a rare October 1st, 1951 programme (playbill) from the one-week, Provincial Tour engagement of the HARRY PARR DAVIES and CHRISTOPHER HASSALL musical comedy "DEAR MISS PHOEBE" at the Grand Theatre in Blackpool, England. (The Original West End production opened October 13th, 1950 at the Phoenix Theatre in London and ran for 238 performances before going on the road.) ..... Based on the JAMES M. BARRIE play "Quality Street", the musical starred JEAN TELFER in the title role and included PETER GRAVES, ELIZABETH BIRD, CLAUDINE GOODFELLOW, MOYA NUGENT, OLGA LINDO, CHRISTIE HUMPHREY, BERNARD CLIFTON, JOYCE MANDRE, JOHN CROCKER, GORDON HONEY and BERNARD HUNTER .....
